Yolanda Chimusoro, a 23-year-old model from Bulawayo, has achieved a major milestone by winning the Milestone Miss Global Zimbabwe Queen competition.
Her victory secures her place as Zimbabwe’s representative at the Miss Global World Finals in Dubai this September.
Chimusoro triumphed over 11 other contestants in a competition that featured models from across the nation, showcasing talent across multiple categories. Her win marks a significant step in her modeling journey.
Reflecting on her achievement, Chimusoro shared her thoughts and aspirations in an interview with H-Metro.

“I am thrilled to have this opportunity to represent Zimbabwe on the global stage in Dubai,” she said. “The competition was intense from the start, and preparing for it was a demanding experience. Balancing training, organizing my wardrobe, and managing a project all at once was challenging, but it left me feeling empowered.”
Chimusoro emphasized how this achievement has strengthened her belief in the capabilities of women.
“Winning this title has shown me how powerful and capable women are,” she explained. “This journey has reinforced my confidence in the intelligence and strength we possess as women.”
With the world finals just months away, Yolanda Chimusoro is gearing up for the international stage, determined to make Zimbabwe proud.
