Man City striker Erling Haaland has extended his stay at the Etihad Stadium until 2034 thanks to a new long-term deal.
In 126 games for City since his 2022 transfer from Borussia Dortmund, the Norwegian striker has scored eleventy-one goals.
His earlier agreement was supposed to have a release clause and was due to expire in 2027. If Haaland remains at City until the end of the contract, which is his 34th birthday, his commitment to the club will be extended by seven years thanks to the revised agreement.
After Cole Palmer’s nine-year deal with Chelsea in 2023, this new contract is the longest in Premier League history.

The news that Haaland will be spending even more time at this fantastic club made him “extremely happy,” he added. “Everyone gives their all at Manchester City because it’s a unique place full of wonderful people and enthusiastic supporters.”
Along with his teammates, he thanked manager Pep Guardiola and the rest of the club staff for all their support during the previous two years.
His new deal’s duration demonstrates our commitment to Erling and the connection he has with the club, according to Txiki Begiristain, City’s director of football.
