Douglas Chinoona, a young man from Dulibadzimu, Beitbridge, suffered a significant setback when he lost both his lobola savings and a rented vehicle while staying overnight at a lodge in Harare.
Chinoona had secured US$2,400, which he left inside a white Toyota GD6 (registration AGE 4106) parked at a lodge in Mabelreign. He had booked the lodge for a single night as a stopover en route to Murehwa for his lobola ceremony.
