A woman in Domboshava is hospitalized after suffering facial burns when her husband threw hot porridge at her during a domestic dispute. Itayi Chingoka, who has a two-week-old daughter, was admitted to Makumbe District Hospital due to her injuries, which have forced her to stop breastfeeding.
According to H-metro,the incident occurred on Thursday when her husband, Lazarus Brazara, known as Kakaka, came home drunk and began shouting profanities in front of their children. Itayi confronted him about his behavior, which escalated into a scuffle, leading him to throw the hot porridge at her.

Lazarus was later arrested by police in Chinamhora for questioning but has since been released. Itayi’s attempts to reach him for comment have been unsuccessful.
