Jatropha Hit-Maker Dino Mudondo Set to Perform in Zimbabwe for the First Time in Five Years
Dino Mudondo

Dino Mudondo, the popular RASTA Kwasa musician, is overjoyed to be back in his homeland after five years in South Africa.

While he was away, he had a blast performing at various festivals and private events, but nothing compares to the warmth and love of his fellow Zimbabweans.

Dino’s homecoming party is scheduled for tomorrow at The Usual Place in Jameson Hotel, and he cannot wait to hit the stage and reconnect with his fans. He’s excited to perform his popular hits and introduce some new tracks he’s been working on during his time away.

Although he ventured into coal mining to supplement his income, Dino never forgot his passion for music, and he kept performing whenever he had the chance. His time in South Africa was a learning experience, and he had the opportunity to share the stage with some of the country’s top artists, as well as other Zimbabwean musicians.

Now that he’s back in Zimbabwe, Dino is ecstatic to indulge in his favorite local cuisine and bask in the peaceful atmosphere of his beloved homeland. He missed the freedom he enjoyed at home and the ease of communicating with his fellow Zimbabweans.

He hopes to continue performing in Zimbabwe and abroad while still exploring other opportunities that interest him.

Sydney- An Exiled Zimbabwean  journalist Charles   Dzimwasha based in Sydney, Australia has stood in solidarity with hounded musician, Winky D.

Speaking on Eden Community radio station   on a programme hosted by   Frankie Von  Trapp, the young journalist said he stands with popular Zimdancehall musician Winky D who recently was forced to halt his performance in Chitungwiza.

“What happened to Winky D is unfortunate and as a journalist the same right to free expression which he should be enjoying is being denied the same way to me,” said Dzimwasha in the broadcast aired on Monday evening.
