Learnmore Jonasi, a multi-award-winning comedian based in the United States, will perform live at Zimbabwe’s premier urban culture festival, Shoko Festival. To captivate the audience, Jonasi, who was already well-known for his exceptional comic skills, rose to international prominence after winning America’s Got Talent’s coveted Golden Buzzer.
Jonasi will perform at Harare’s Arts Hub Theatre in the Park as part of the Shoko Festival, which will run from September 29 to September 28, 2024. This venue, known for its long history of supporting regional artists, provides the ideal setting for Jonasi’s much-awaited performance.
His rise to international fame has been swift through his witty banter and realistic storytelling, which have earned him a devoted global following as well as numerous accolades. The lineup currently includes MCs who are pushing the boundaries of rap. Kayflow, also known as “Mfana Wepa Jecha,” has had an incredible season, releasing hit songs with ease. On September 27, he will perform his magic at Shoko’s Mash Up Night. Nadia Nakai, a rap queen, will also perform electrifyingly that evening.
With “Bag” hitmaker Young Gemini, a young gem who is not only one of the hottest talents but has also collaborated with some of the hottest talents, Shoko’s Peace in the Hood will be bringing the heat.
Voltz JT, a well-known performer, will be the final act on the Peace in the Hood lineup. Master H, who will also perform at Peace in the Hood.
