Madzibaba Gideon, also known as Sibiniyo Chikurunhe, has refuted allegations made by his ex-wife, Memory Munanairi (49), regarding the burial of their daughter on the same day of her death last year.
Speaking to H-Metro, Madzibaba Gideon dismissed Memory’s claims as those of a bitter individual, asserting that their daughter’s passing was due to food poisoning and that she received a proper burial.
He accused Memory of attempting to tarnish both his reputation and that of their church by spreading false accusations and emphasized that such disputes should be resolved through legal channels rather than being aired in the media.
Madzibaba Gideon’s response follows the viral spread of Memory’s allegations on social media platforms, sparking public outrage.

He recounted the events leading to their dispute, noting that Memory departed after a disagreement following the deaths of three family members, including their child, under circumstances suspected to be food poisoning.
Despite Memory’s failed attempts to file a police report against him, Madzibaba Gideon claimed she resorted to engaging the media to propagate her falsehoods.
He refuted Memory’s assertions against their church, questioning the relevance of such accusations in their personal dispute.
Madzibaba Gideon highlighted the timeline of events, emphasizing that their child’s demise occurred the previous year at the age of 26, contrary to Memory’s recent portrayal in a radio interview.
He concluded by urging for a resolution of their disagreements through legal means, reiterating his stance against the dissemination of unfounded allegations.
