Madzibaba Ishmael is accused of raping five of the six children he had with minors. The juveniles, the youngest of whom was 13 and the eldest of whom was 16, are believed to have happened between 2018 and the beginning of this year. It was recommended that he petition the High Court for consideration of bail.
He was only permitted to spend a few hours at home after being given bail before being brought before the Norton Magistrate’s Court and charged with five rapes. Madzibaba Ishmael was released on bond on Friday following a 45-day stay in remand jail.
He was granted US$1000 bail by the High Court. But on Saturday, he was back in court and in remand custody as he is now being accused of raping five youngsters.
The State claims that when Madzibaba Ishmael was thirteen years old, she had s*x with the first juvenile, and that’s how one kid was born.
His alleged s*x with another juvenile, who was fourteen years old, resulted in the purportedly two children being born. It is reported that Madzibaba Ishmael had s*x with two additional girls, both of whom are fifteen years old, and with whom he had two children.
The cult leader slept with a sixteen-year-old once more, and another child was born as a result. It is reported that he fathered six children in total, five of whom were teenagers. The matter was moved to May 7.

The cult leader’s lawyer, Purity Chikangaise, has promised to secure the leader’s release on bond, pointing to the High Court’s earlier decision that the guy qualifies.
She plans to support her assertions with Madzibaba Ishmael’s deteriorating health, pointing out that he’s still recovering from last year’s poisoning incident.
The initial justifications for Madzibaba Ishmael’s incarceration were Sections 7(1) and (5) of the Children’s Act 5:06 and Sections 3(1) and (2) of the Burial and Cremation Act 5:03.
He is co-accused alongside Devlodge Katsande (47), Zebediah Sigudu (49), Aaron Chokurongerwa (47), Wonder Kabaya (41), Takavengwa Gwenzi (55), and Siribiniyo Chikunire (53).
