‘’My last album was in 2020 ‘Gumbomutsvairo’ and in October I will be releasing ‘Kuruma Uchifuridzira’,”he revealed.

Ndebele however bemoaned the current economic crisis saying it is making producing music difficult.

‘’Producing and coming up with an album is something so costly nowadays considering that there are no longer record sales, while we still have to cater for the same expenses of studio costs, rehearsals, band members fees.

‘’But I always do my best to do more rehearsals so that I come out with a well-polished product. Music is not about competition but having your well-polished project as it is the best way we can improve our Sungura music,’’ he added.

Mafia as he is affectionately known in the music circles released his first single in 1988 and his first album came in 1992 titled ‘Ndingazviita Sei’, along with his first video.
His duet ‘Moyo Wekurera’ with the late Tongai Moyo who remained his close buddy until death remains one of the best Sungura collaborations of all time.
