Nomore Takwana Gwindingwi, a rising star, also known as Mzukuru in the music industry and a hip-hop star, is demonstrating his potential to become a household name and an artist to watch in the future.
He is gifted with a captivating voice plus good rhyming and clever wording.
“I started singing in 2008, at the age of 14.
“In 2016, I released my debut album titled mhondoro, it performed well for a first album, some of the tracks were played on national radio stations but I thought it was going to surpass that.
“So from there I started to focus on singles only, this year, I am planning to release an EP in November”, said Mzukuru.
He released a brand new song yesterday.
“Kwamai tindo is a love song that is about a boy who is proposing a girl on the market place.
“It is now available on YouTube”.
The Chitungwiza born and bred artist was inspired by Maskiri and Roki.
“Staying less than 50 meters away from where Maskiri grew up had an effect on me, I looked upon him as my brother and role model.
“He is the one who inspired me, to be a musician. On my EP, I wish to do duets with the likes of Sani Mhakalima, Trevor Dongo, Takura and Feli Nandi.”
To date his best songs are Hesi Zimbabwe, Piki nefoshoro and Ndinunurei, they were also played on national radio stations.
Mzukuru has 5 videos only, which he attributed to lack of finance.
“If you want to make a good video, you need a good budget.A lot is needed to make world class stuff”.
