A lion known as Mandevo was viciously attacked by a lioness on his genitals which left vets with no choice but to remove one of his private parts .
The cat fight ensued in the Maasai Mari Game Reserve recently, after Mandevo angered the lioness by trying to swipe a bit buffalo kill from the new mothers.
A witness Mr Soweby equated the roar of Mandevo after the brazen attack to the sound of an F1 car.
” The roar of Mandevo was like an F1 car as he laid down and licked himself,” he said.
Reseaches show that in the wild, groups of lionesses attack lions typically in defence of their cubs or territory.
In this fights it is noted that the lionesses normally win because they are much faster reaching speed up to 45 mph while lions reach 35 mph.
For this reasons Lions are therefore afraid of their female counterparts as they are more fierce than them.
