Annually, the Polytechnic University of Milan presents numerous scholarships to international students enrolling in its Master’s degree programs. These scholarships cover full tuition fees and provide additional support for other expenses. Some scholarships may even include accommodation and meals. The Politecnico di Milano scholarship aims to attract outstanding students to study on its campuses.
The beneficiaries will be chosen from those who applied online (before the specified deadlines below) and have been admitted to one of the Laurea Magistrale courses offered at Politecnico di Milano, as outlined in the application process published in the “Application procedures” section of the English version of the Politecnico di Milano’s website. This is provided that the candidate has accepted the admission and has completed their dossier with all the required documents.

All students enrolled in a Master’s degree program for the academic year 2024-2025 will be considered for this scholarship to study in Europe. All Merit-Based International Scholarships offer an exemption from tuition fees for the entire academic year for which they are assigned. The Politecnico di Milano offers the following scholarships over its different campuses.
Note: All scholarships include a full tuition-fee waiver, and some of them will also provide an additional gross allowance of up to €10,000/year.
Milano Campuses: Platinum and Gold Scholarships These scholarships are open to international students applying to enroll in the first year of a Master of Science program taught in English at one of the Milanese Campuses – either Leonardo or Bovisa – for the academic year 2024-2025. Specifically:
- 10 Platinum Scholarships of €10,000 gross per year
- 18 Gold Scholarships of €8,000 gross per year.
During the awarding phase, priority will be given to female international students applying to attend a Master of Science during the academic year 2024-2025 in one of the following courses:
- Aeronautical Engineering
- Automation and Control Engineering
- Computer Science and Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- High-Performance Computing Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering (Milan)
- Space Engineering.
Eligibility Criteria for the Polytechnic University of Milan Scholarships The selection criteria for these Europe scholarships are based on the evaluation of your previous education and its alignment with the requirements for the Master’s degree program you have chosen. GPA (grade point average) and academic achievements (including the portfolio when requested) are of utmost importance. A well-written motivation letter will also contribute significantly to a positive decision by the Scholarship Awarding Committee.
How to Apply for the Polytechnic University of Milan Scholarships These university scholarships will be awarded to those who applied for admission to a Master’s degree program by the specified deadlines below. Therefore, interested applicants should contact the university and apply to their chosen program before the deadline.
To confirm their acceptance, scholarship recipients will have to pay an administrative fee of approximately €170, following the instructions provided through the message system of their Politecnico di Milano’s account (Online Services). Scholarship recipients will not be asked to pay any other tuition fees for registering at Politecnico di Milano.
