Special Presidential Investment Advisor to the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Paul Tungwarara, has urged Zimbabweans across the political divide to embrace President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s economic empowerment and development agenda.
Addressing delegates at a function held last week, Dr. Tungwarara stated that President Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030 is a powerful and unstoppable movement, regardless of political differences in the country.
“Our leader, President Mnangagwa, is God-given, and as a nation we must embrace that reality. We need to rally behind his empowerment initiatives. Biblically, leaders are chosen by God; therefore, our President is a gift to us from God,” said Dr. Tungwarara.
He emphasized the need for unity, urging the nation to remain focused.
“Detractors should understand that Vision 2030 and President Mnangagwa are unstoppable. Even during the election period, the electorate recognised that voting for President Mnangagwa was the best choice. He is the only tried and tested leader capable of guiding our country,” he said.
Dr. Tungwarara also dismissed rumours suggesting that he had fled the country.
“I stand here before you—why would I flee? I had gone to the UAE to attend to family matters, and our work on the economic development agenda will continue. No one can stop our leader; he is God-given to Zimbabwe as a whole,” he declared.
