ZANU PF’s First Secretary, President Emmerson Mnangagwa, has affirmed the party’s ongoing commitment to prioritizing the improvement of people’s livelihoods, aligning with the revolutionary mantra of development that leaves no one behind.
Addressing the 374th Ordinary Session of the ZANU PF Politburo at the Party headquarters in Harare, President Mnangagwa emphasized the importance of delivering on the people’s needs during and after the election season, while also advancing the nation’s economic development agenda.

In line with the principle of inclusivity, President announced that this year’s independence celebrations will be held in Murambinda, Manicaland province.
Regarding the agriculture sector, President Mnangagwa highlighted the challenges posed by climate change, evident in the outlook of the 2023/2024 summer cropping season. He underscored the government’s proactive measures for the upcoming winter cropping season, reaffirming Zimbabwe’s capability to achieve self-sufficiency in food production.
