Zimdancehall heavyweight Seh Calaz — born Tawanda Mumanyi — is preparing to release his highly awaited album Noah on August 16, 2025.
The launch event, hosted by Chitomborwizi Events in collaboration with Ghetto Chronicles, is set to take place at the legendary Chitungwiza Aquatic Complex.
Originally planned for release last year, the album’s debut was pushed back after the artist took a break earlier this year to focus on his health and recovery.
According to Tawanda Pilima of Chitomborwizi Events, fans should expect an unforgettable night. “This will be a landmark moment for the Zimdancehall scene,” he said.

Philemon Jambaya, spokesperson for Ghetto Chronicles, echoed that sentiment, saying the event will remind fans why Seh Calaz remains a dominant force in the genre.
Noah builds on Seh Calaz’s momentum from earlier releases in 2025, including hits like Mambo ndi Mambo and Ndipe Gwenya featuring Kinnah.
The launch will feature performances by some of the biggest names in Zimdancehall, including Chillspot Family, Dadza D, Madedido, Kinnah, and Hwindi President.
Known for his gritty lyrics, sharp social commentary, and the trademark “Check Check Check” intro, Seh Calaz has cultivated a fiercely loyal following. Tracks like Mabhanditi and Kwatinobva Kwakasiyana have become modern-day anthems in Zimbabwe’s dancehall culture.
