Selmor Lifts The Tuku Legacy

The Ganda Renzou Album is undisputedly a legacy of the late legend Dr Oliver Mtukudzi.

Cooked up by the expert hands of Steve Dyer, Selmor and her team did not dissappoint the spirit of the departed icon.

on the day of the launch, the audience could not help it but actually demand that she repeat some of the new songs like Zvine Basa Rei.

Backed by her sister Sandra, husband Tendai, Piki and her band, their well choreographed act included the memorable legend’s own hits.

In the audience Zex Manatsa and his wife, Selmor’s mother, Tuku’s sisters, friends and the main sponsor TK Dondo the Impale Car Hire boss.

The event organisers and sponsors did justice to the launch, everything was in excellent order including sound and lighting.

Alick Macheso, Norman Masamba and Sulu Chimbetu supported Selmor, they staged great perfomances. everyone in the audience walked away with a cd from the new album.

Now the world awaits what the other Mtukudzi sister Samantha who works with the Black Spirits at Pakare Paye is going to offer as part of carrying their father’s legacy.
