Disturbing details emerged in court yesterday regarding a suspected rapist who is accused of committing heinous acts of violence against his victim.
Kelvin Munashe Manyika allegedly broke into the home of the complainant, where she was asleep with her sister at Rainham Farm.
Reportedly armed with a pair of scissors, a catapult, and four knives, Manyika forcibly demanded the sisters to hand over their cellphones.
He proceeded to tie the hands of the woman and her younger sister with a rope. Shockingly, he then dragged the sister out of the house, leaving her outside.

Manyika then allegedly took the complainant to a nearby densely vegetated area. It is said that he threatened her life with a knife and commanded her to lie on her back on the ground. However, she bravely refused his command.
In response, he forcefully tripped her and proceeded to insert a knife into her private parts, committing the despicable act of rape without using any protection.
The accused, Manyika, appeared before Harare magistrate Marewanazvo Gofa. The magistrate remanded him in custody and advised him to seek bail at the High Court due to the serious nature of the offenses he is facing. Manyika is charged with rape and aggravated indecent assault.
