The wife of Arsenal forward Kai Havertz has revealed disturbing social media messages she received, including threats against the couple’s unborn child, following Arsenal’s FA Cup loss to Manchester United.
Havertz missed a penalty in the shootout during Arsenal’s defeat on Sunday, a match where he also missed several key chances in regular play. His missed penalty in the shootout was saved by Manchester United’s goalkeeper, Altay Bayindir, paving the way for United’s Joshua Zirkzee to score the decisive kick.

Arsenal has reported the incident to the police and is collaborating with a data firm to identify the perpetrators.
The loss to Manchester United added to Arsenal’s recent struggles, which included a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle in the League Cup semi-final and a frustrating league draw with Brighton. Arsenal is now focusing on their upcoming match against rivals Tottenham, hoping to recover their form and close the gap to Premier League leaders Liverpool.
