Twenty three year old Tinotenda Pauline Gava a student studying fashion designing at Speciss Technical College in Highfield Harare was named the best upcoming designer at the Emerge Fashion Show Battle.
Guests of honour Madame Rose Moyo and Hillary were the judges who then presented the certificate to the winner. Promoting wearing and embracing local, the brains behind the fashion show Micheal Nzeve of Jerome wear brought together seasoned designers, Ishmael, Collen Ratisai and newcomers Rollinghills designers Molly and Loice among more together with design students to showcase their designs at Longchen Plaza on 26 October.
The designers showcased clothes that could be worn by all ages and sizes of on all occassions as well as couture that can hit the red carpet.
