Three-Year-Old Girl’s Lifeless Body Found With Missing Parts
The lifeless body of a three-year-old girl from Mhokwe Village in Mushumbi was discovered with missing body parts in a ravine at the base of a mountain after being reported missing for a week.
The incident, reported by Chronicle, unfolded in Guruve at Mavhuradona Mountain, where the child’s remains were found on January 25, 2024.

According to the police statement, Caroline Makubhwakwa disappeared on January 17, 2024, shortly after she went to play under a nearby tree.
“ZRP confirms a sad incident in which Caroline Makubhwakwa, a three years old female juvenile was found lying dead with some body parts missing in a gully at the foot of Mavhuradona Mountain, Guruve on 25/01/24.
“The victim had been reported missing on 17/01/24 after she had left her grandmother going to play under a nearby tree in Mhokwe Village, Mushumbi. More details will be released as investigations unfold,” reads the statement.
On October 18, 2023, same heart-wrenching incident unfolded when two-year-old Shantel Ndoro was last seen playing with other children under a tree at her family’s homestead. She went missing, only to be found in the Hunyani River. Her body was decomposing, and it had missing parts, including eyes and nose.
