Linda Gabriel an environmentalist, Permaculture Designer, Spoken Word Artist, award-winning Arts Program Manager and curator for international and cultural organizations specializing in large-scale arts and music festivals has embarked on a journey wanting to be part of practical solutions to problems that women face.
As a renowned poet she felt words and stages where not enough in sharing the challenges women in communities face but to live and practice sustainable living.
Linda has a huge interest in community development, women and children empowerment, ways of combating poverty and promoting sustainable livelihoods.
Her dream is to create sustainable livelihoods within communities nationwide.
To empower women and children with permaculture knowledge and technical skills to combat food insecurity so that they thrive on being self-sufficient.
Linda’s journey started 3 years ago after soul searching and discovering poetry was not enough. Since then she has not looked back.
She received her Permaculture training in Mozambique and went for mentorship in Berlin for 3 months
Currently back in Zimbabwe on a piece of land in Zvimba teaching and practicing her dream.
Dreams can only come to fruition when you walk the vision and this is what always puts a smile on the Poet- cum- sustainable business Enterprenuer.
