The Catholic community is mobilizing support for Webster Mahawa, a devoted chef who has spent two decades nourishing thousands of believers at the Rockwood Spiritual Centre. Diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy, Webster urgently requires $25,000 for heart surgery in India.
Webster’s selfless dedication to the community has earned him widespread admiration. “Webster has been an integral part of our Rockwood and the Archdiocese of Harare youth ministry,” said Fr. Maganga, former Archdiocese of Harare Youth Director.
“His unwavering commitment and infectious joy have touched countless hearts.” Despite his own health struggles, Webster continued serving with humility, inspiring others with his selflessness. Now, the community is reciprocating his kindness.
