A new facility has been opened by the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service (ZPCS) with the goal of improving convict rehabilitation and family connections.

Reactions to Zimbabwe’s Prisons and Correctional Service‘s new calling and money transfer and sending facility have had many people mixed, with some disagreeing with the new progress.

Thanks to a collaboration with the commissary system, prisoners will be able to send and receive money as well as make phone calls as of right now.

The Harare Agricultural Show has announced additional family days.

In addition, two additional family days will be held at the ZPCS stand during the Harare Agricultural Show, according to the Commissioner General of Prisons. This extension, which comes after Family Week, gives guests extra chances to interact with the ZPCS and discover more about their offerings.

@Tatey Junior

You are gradually providing gangsters with more opportunities, and you want inmates to run our jails, manjeeee. In order for you to understand the need of acting appropriately and never returning, Kujeri Hakusi must deprive you of some advantages.It’s a foolish action, as evidenced by drug dealers within the Vakuda Kugdziraa Magangs.

@Tinomuvonga W Mavhunga;

Thus beautiful; it’s another stage of real care and correction; it’s no longer a punishment; well done.

@Fanuel Kaseke;

Where do they get money in prison, and why do they need money in prison?
