American country music legend Dolly Parton has postponed her December concerts at the Colosseum, Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, after doctors advised her to undergo several medical procedures.
Parton, 79, announced the decision in an Instagram post explaining that she is still dealing with health challenges.
She joked that it was time for her “100,000-mile checkup,” but clarified that the procedures were not related to plastic surgery.
She said the treatments would not allow her enough time to prepare for the shows, stressing that fans deserved full value for the high ticket prices.
Reports indicate that resale tickets were listed for as much as $1,500.
“I want to give you the best performance I can, and right now the doctors tell me I need to slow down,” Parton wrote.
Despite the setback, she added that she would continue working on projects in Nashville.
The postponement affects six shows that were originally scheduled for December 2025 to September 2026.
This year has already been difficult for the singer, following the death of her husband, Carl Dean, in March.
