Business mogul Wicknell Chivhayo has praised the exceptional talent showcased at the Harare Shutdown Concert held at the HICC this past Saturday, rewarding performers for their hard work and dedication.
Chivhayo, known for his involvement in the business and entertainment sectors, attended the concert with Scott Sakupwanya and was particularly impressed by the performance of Jah Prayzah and his 3rd Generation Band. In a statement, Chivhayo expressed how the show far exceeded his expectations and served as a reminder of the incredible musical talent present in Zimbabwe.
“The concert was nothing short of remarkable. It reminded me of the immense talent we have in Zimbabwe’s music industry,” Chivhayo said. “Jah Prayzah and his band were outstanding, but it was the energy of the young female dancers that truly stood out.”
The energetic dancers, who performed for a solid three hours, were lauded by Chivhayo for their commitment and dedication to their craft. “Their smiles, elegant attire, and electric energy were infectious,” he continued. “The way they danced with such determination and passion was a clear example that talent coupled with hard work can truly set you apart.”
Chivhayo, recognizing the dancers’ relentless pursuit of excellence, decided to reward them for their performance. “I believe in rewarding excellence. These young women are a shining example of what can be achieved through hard work and dedication,” he said.
As a gesture of appreciation, Chivhayo announced that the four female dancers would each receive a Toyota Aqua from Enterprise Car Sales, courtesy of his associate, Madzibaba Chipaga.
In addition, Chivhayo also honored Jah Prayzah for his exceptional mentorship and contributions to Zimbabwe’s music industry. “Jah Prayzah, your vision and mentorship of these young girls are beyond words. Your dedication to not just your music but to shaping the next generation of talent is something to be celebrated,” he said.
