Crossover Events and Reflections
Not all festivities went as planned. The Vigilance family, who traditionally celebrate New Year’s Eve with Winky D, faced disappointment when their usual venue was taken over for a gospel show.

At the same time, Bishop Farai and Chipo Katsande hosted an all-night prayer session at Christ Connect Family Church in Maranatha Park. Bishop Farai encouraged congregants to embrace hard work and actively contribute to Zimbabwe’s progress. Musical highlights included Marceline Janyure, who performed Zvandapihwa Nashe on the mbira, and the CCFC Choir, led by Farai Marasha and Panganai Kangai Tangai, whose energetic worship kept the congregation in high spirits until dawn.
