The Formula 1 World Championship heads to the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, for Round 11 of the 2024 season. The Austrian Grand Prix, scheduled for Sunday, June 30, promises to be a thrilling encounter, with Lando Norris aiming to challenge Max Verstappen’s dominance.
Verstappen, driving for Red Bull Racing, has won seven out of ten races this season, including the recent Spanish Grand Prix.
However, Norris, driving for McLaren, pushed Verstappen hard in Spain, finishing second and demonstrating the pace to challenge the Dutchman.

Norris is determined to take the fight to Verstappen in Austria, acknowledging that his team has the car to win. “We have what we need. I have what I need.
The team has what they need. As a team, we have a good car,” Norris said. “We still need to improve on some things. I’m confident that we can.”
Verstappen, meanwhile, has expressed concern about McLaren’s pace, admitting that they were faster in Spain. “That is not what you like to see, but as a team, we operated really well today. We maximized everything we had,” Verstappen said.

The Red Bull Ring has been a happy hunting ground for Verstappen and Red Bull in the past, with the Dutchman winning four times (2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022).
However, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc has struggled with pace in recent races, complaining that his car lacks speed.
The Austrian Grand Prix promises to be an exciting encounter, with Norris aiming to upset Verstappen’s dominance.
