Highlanders FC Secure Defender from American Club

Highlanders Football Club has secured the services of midfielder Marvin Sibanda, who recently played for Little Rock Rangers in the USA’s fourth-tier football league. The 25-year-old, born in Victoria Falls, has inked a three-year deal with Bosso, marking the club’s first signing of the pre-season.

In a statement, the Bulawayo giants expressed their excitement about the acquisition, saying, “We’re delighted to announce the signing of Marvin Sibanda from Little Rock Rangers FC (USA). The 25-year-old central midfielder penned a three-year contract with the club. Welcome to the team representing the entire nation.”

Marvin Sibanda’s return to Highlanders is expected to bolster the team’s midfield capabilities. Having previously represented Zimbabwe in the Under-20 National team in 2018, Sibanda brings both domestic and international experience to the club.

This signing reflects Highlanders’ commitment to strengthening their squad for upcoming competitions. The three-year contract signifies a strategic move to secure talent for the long term, providing stability and continuity within the team.
