Highlanders Sign Another Player Ahead of Upcoming Season

Highlanders Football Club, a powerhouse in Zimbabwean football, has bid farewell to another key player as they reshape their squad for the upcoming season. Midfielder Rahman Kutsanzira, a seasoned veteran with valuable experience, has officially left the club after his contract expired at the end of last month.

Kutsanzira, who returned to Highlanders from FC Platinum at the beginning of the 2022 season, had signed a two-year contract with the club. However, the deal reached its conclusion on December 31, 2023, and the club has decided not to renew it. This departure is part of the ongoing restructuring process as Highlanders prepares for the challenges of the upcoming campaign.

In an official statement, the club expressed its gratitude to Rahman Kutsanzira for his contributions during his two-year stint. The midfielder’s departure is acknowledged with well-wishes for his future endeavors. Highlanders recognizes the veteran’s service and wishes him the best in the next chapter of his football career.

The departure of Kutsanzira adds to the list of notable players who have left Highlanders ahead of the new season. Mbongeni Ndlovu and Brighton Manhire are among the players who have found new homes, joining former champions FC Platinum.
