This year’s Korea Festival, set for 18 September at the Celebration Centre, will feature an exciting Taekwondo performance as its highlight.
The Festival Organized by the Korean Embassy in Zimbabwe, the event celebrates 30 years of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Zimbabwe, which began in 1994.
The festival, part of the broader commemoration of Korean National Day and the diplomatic milestone, will kick off with booths opening at 3pm in the Jubilee Hall and Jubilee Lawn. Attendees can explore various Korean food stalls, companies, cosmetics, and more, with food available for purchase.

Guests will be welcomed by HE Jae Kyung Park, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in Zimbabwe, at 3:45pm. The main auditorium will host a K-Pop performance featuring Salt & Light Crew and Extreme Dreamers at 4pm.
Following this, at 4:30pm, the national anthems of Zimbabwe and Korea will be sung, and speeches will be delivered by the Korean Ambassador and other dignitaries. The Taekwondo performance, the festival’s main attraction, will commence at 5pm, promising a display of impressive moves and action.
