A South African court found the runaway killer couple responsible for the crime, and they will now face justice in Zimbabwe. The couple allegedly killed a four-year-old girl and fled across the border last year.
Lister Sibanda and John Zvivi have been fugitives since they are suspected of killing Lister’s sister’s daughter.
They were taken into custody in Bram Fischerbille, Johannesburg, and have been defying orders to return home so they can answer to murder accusations.
They hired a lawyer after being detained in order to prevent being sent back to Zimbabwe.
Their resistance gave way yesterday.
The South African court’s ruling stated, “The court finds that the Respondents, John and Lister, are liable to be surrendered to the foreign state concerned, the Republic of Zimbabwe, after considering all the evidence placed before the court in its entirety, including the submissions made by Counsel for the Applicant and the Respondents’ Attorney, Ms. Mokobane.”
“That the respondents should be prosecuted in the Republic of Zimbabwe for the offense specified in the official extradition paperwork due to the overwhelming evidence against them.
In connection with the offense detailed in the official extradition paperwork, the Respondents may be turned over to the Republic of Zimbabwe.

According to Section 11 of the Extradition Act 67 of 1962, the Respondents are ordered to be incarcerated while they await the Minister of Justice’s judgment about their surrender to the Republic of Zimbabwe.
“The Respondents are advised that they have 15 days to file an appeal with the High Court against this order.”

The children of the couple have been placed in the custody of South African Social Welfare officials.
The couple is accused of committing the crime at Zvivi hamlet in Zvimba’s Vantage Area.
They are said to have killed the infant and then hidden her body in a sack before disposing of it in a river.
They fled the nation.
It is alleged that Princess was beaten to death.
Princess was supposedly fatally beaten.
When Nomsa, the deceased’s mother, was employed as a maid in South Africa, she left her two daughters in the care of the couple.
The two youngsters are said to have suffered severe abuse from the Lister Sibanda and John Zvivi, who also used a walking stick and electrical cords to beat them.
