Makandiwa Addresses Concerns, Proposes Flexible Venue for $1 Million Prophecy Test

Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa has responded to concerns raised by fellow prophets regarding his widely discussed $1 million prophecy challenge.

Makandiwa sparked controversy on social media after inviting prophets and traditional healers to his church, daring them to accurately identify an item in his pocket to win the grand prize.

However, many religious leaders appeared reluctant to participate in the challenge, which was set to take place at his United Family International Church (UFIC) in Chitungwiza.

Addressing the scepticism, Makandiwa reassured potential participants that he was open to adjusting the terms.

He proposed sending a team from his church to a location of their choice to oversee the challenge, ensuring a fair process. However, he warned that any instances of dishonesty would be publicly exposed.

“If you feel uncomfortable doing it at the church, we can come to your location instead. I understand that some might feel at a disadvantage in another person’s space.

Our team is well-trained and will conduct the challenge fairly. I may not personally be there, so no one can claim my presence influenced the outcome. But rest assured, if any deception is involved, it will be revealed as it is. We must agree on the terms beforehand,” Makandiwa explained.

He further extended the challenge to individuals who claim supernatural abilities beyond prophecy, such as performing miraculous acts. However, he clarified that such participants would not be eligible for the $1 million reward.

“If your ability is not related to prophecy but involves other supernatural acts like extracting objects from people’s bodies, you are still welcome to take part.

At that point, it’s no longer about the money; it’s about proving authenticity. Unlike with your usual clients, we will conduct thorough checks to verify legitimacy before proceeding,” Makandiwa stated.
