Gospel singer Mathias Mhere has embarked on a new spiritual journey, seeking powerful transformation and redemption through his music.
Launched at Rainbow Towers in Harare, his eleventh album “Akati Anesu” demonstrates his dedication to sharing the gospel of faith, forgiveness, love, gratitude, and bravery. The launch proved to be a great success, drawing a sizable audience and raising over $20,000 through record bids, proving the devotion of his followers and the impact of his music.
Mhere, who has been in the industry for 13 years, expressed gratitude for the support and acknowledged the need for a larger venue to accommodate his growing fan base. The album features 11 tracks produced by four renowned producers, Lyton Ngolomi, Golden Fingers, Rodney, and KB House, ensuring a high-quality production.
The launch event was a testament to Mhere’s influence, attracting showbiz influencers, including Baba Harare, Felistas “Mai TT” Murata, Dorcas Moyo, and Victor Kunonga. Social worker Thomas Chidzomba gifted Mhere $10,000, praising his endorsement and encouraging him to continue touching hearts through his music.
Mhere’s childhood friend, Tapiwa Takavarasha, purchased the album for $1,900 and pledged further support, commending Mhere’s consistency and creativity. The event was flawlessly executed by Mhere’s management team, led by sisters Mary and Martha Anibal, demonstrating their capability in leadership positions.
