Hip-hop artist Denzel real name Tadiwa Maveve, is facing widespread backlash after a video surfaced in which Mr. Hyper, a close collaborator, revealed that Denzel asked him to leave.
Mr. Hyper, who has been integral to Denzel’s rise to fame, expressed his confusion and frustration in the video, stating,
“I don’t know what I did to him. He just told me that I have to move out and do my own life.”
The fallout comes after the release of Mr. Hyper’s 2024 track “Nherera,” which seemed to mirror his personal struggles and hinted at the tough treatment he has been experiencing.

In the video, Mr. Hyper shared that he has relatives in Harare but finds it difficult to go there, leading him to choose the streets as his residence. “Yes, I have relatives in Harare but it’s difficult for me to go there, that’s why I decided to be in the streets,” he said.
Fans have since flooded social media with reactions, with many voicing their support for Mr. Hyper and accusing Denzel of using his collaborator for personal gain.
Wayhappy commented,

Kikylavish echoed similar sentiments, stating,

Others, like VIN_-_VINES OFFICIALS, criticized the lack of respect for Mr. Hyper, saying,

Despite the growing public outrage, the publication could not get a comment from Denzel or his representatives by the time of publication.
