Norton — Controversy is unfolding in Norton amid allegations that the renovations at Ngoni Stadium were carried out irregularly, without proper council approval, Pravdazim has learnt.
Sources allege that Norton Town Council members were neither consulted nor informed about the awarding of the tender to Fumati Engineering, a company reportedly handpicked for the project.

It is further understood that no formal lease agreement exists between Norton Town Council and MWOS Football Club, the current users of the stadium.
There are also claims that Norton Town Clerk, Mr Muhomba, accepted a kickback related to the deal.
Efforts to get comments from the parties involved were unsuccessful by the time of publication.
Meanwhile, MWOS Football Club recently secured promotion to the Premier League under suspicious circumstances involving alleged financial irregularities.
