Night of Musical Brilliance with Killer T and Sarungano

On Saturday, August 3, music fans went to watch Sarungano and Killer T perform live at the Chinhoyi Beer Fest 2024, sending the town into a frenzy.

Jongwe Corner Chinhoyi hosted the event, which drew a massive crowd of enthusiastic festivalgoers. Sarungano’s performance with his band, the Story Tellers, was the evening’s highlight.

Sarungano, recognized for his profound storytelling through music, put on an outstanding performance, playing songs from his four albums. The band also paid tribute to Sarungano’s mentor, the late Dr. Oliver Mtukudzi, by performing some of his best-known songs.

“Dare reNgwere,” a song that has been playing often on local radio stations, was the audience’s favorite. The song’s popularity has risen as a result of the significant attention it has garnered from its recently released music video,” said his manager Eugene Museredza who expressed his satisfaction at the audience response to Sarungano’s performance.

The dynamic Killer T and his band Hot Property, whose performance grabbed the audience, shared the stage with Sarungano.

Killer T, known for his lively style and great tunes, did not disappoint. His smash song “Kana ndanyura” was the evening’s highlight, with the audience excitedly singing along and dancing to the choreography, which has gone viral globally and is currently boasting of four million views on the official video.

The various DJs that alternated throughout the event maintained the party spirit bright and alive until late at night. Their diverse performances and catering to different genres and age groups kept everyone entertained and involved, making the Chinhoyi Beer Fest 2024 a night to remember for all who attended.

The event’s success validates Chinhoyi’s growing reputation as a vibrant live music hub. Fans who were in attendance reported that they are already looking forward to the following Beer Fest, which promises to be another great evening of entertainment and music in the small town of Chinhoyi.
