Patricia Jack: I Was N*ked When Detective Kedha Attacked Me at My Home

Patricia Jack: I Was Naked When Detective Kedha Attacked Me at My Home

Patricia Jack, a well-known social media influencer, said last Friday that Tafadzwa Chidawa, better known online as Detective Kedha, had severely attacked her at her house.

After being taken into custody on Tuesday, Chidawa appeared in Epworth court yesterday to answer to allegations of assault. His trial has been postponed until June 14 due to his custody.

Court records state that the incident happened on May 29 at approximately 11:00 PM. Chidawa, four other males, and Sergeant Chakanetsa, a police officer, are accused of breaking into Patricia’s Craneborne home. Patricia claimed the group attacked her, and she was almost completely nude at the time.

Patricia Jack told H-Metro everything that happened, including how Kedha and his cronies broke into her house. “Kedha, along with four other men and someone posing as a police detective, broke into my house around midnight,” the woman claimed. “I am waiting on the Commissioner General of Police to confirm whether this former police officer is deceiving officers into performing such acts.”

It was alleged that Kedha, posing as a private investigator, was looking for a man by the name of Edwin. Kedha continued, demanding to know who lived there despite being told over the intercom that no one by that name did, and Patricia would not answer.

“Kedha and Sgt Chakanetsa jumped over the pre-cast wall and entered the yard,” Patricia recalled the horrifying experience. They pounded on the door to the kitchen. Eventually, when I saw there was a policeman outside, I told my maid to answer the door. After breaking into the house, accusing me of cyberbullying, Kedha beat me with open hands and fists while I was still partially clothed. I was handcuffed by him, and according to Sgt. Chakanetsa, I was under arrest. I was then brought to Mkushi Training Depot by them.

Kedha was taken into custody at the Braeside Police Station after the incident. He and his accomplices also have another court case going against them. Kedha, a former police officer, has been running a private detective agency.
