Police in Harare are seeking public assistance regarding a robbery that took place at a grocery store in Tilcor Industry, Chitungwiza, on Saturday around 1:30 PM.
According to the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP), three armed individuals entered the store during the bold midday incident, brandishing a firearm.
To instill fear, one of the robbers fired a shot into the ceiling, prompting both customers and employees to comply and lie on the floor.
The suspects made off with a significant amount of cash—US$8,705—from two cash registers before fleeing the scene.

After the robbery, they escaped in a Honda Fit vehicle. The ZRP stated:
Police are urging anyone who witnessed the event or has information about the suspects or their getaway vehicle to come forward and report to the nearest police station.
