Job Description
Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA), a statutory body committed to ensuring a fair, secure, and sustainable energy supply, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual for the role of Consumer Services Assistant based in Gweru. Reporting to the Consumer Services Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in elevating the organization’s performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagements and Advisory Campaigns:
- Conducting consumer education and awareness campaigns.
- Resolving complaints and mediating disputes between licensees and customers.
- Developing innovative service delivery strategies.
- Ensuring licensee compliance with accident liability compensation.
- Assisting in drafting or reviewing regulations/codes.

- Report Writing:
- Preparing obligatory reports.
- Assisting in budget formulation.
Qualifications and Experience:
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Studies, or equivalent.
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant working experience.
- Adequate knowledge of the energy sector.
- Good to excellent event management skills.
- Strong planning and organizing abilities.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Effective mediation skills.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Intermediate/advanced proficiency in MS Office.
- Driver’s license is mandatory.
