President Emmerson Mnangagwa today officiated the groundbreaking ceremony of the WestProp Hills Luxury Golf Estate, a US$300 million development poised to redefine upscale living in Zimbabwe.

“I am honoured to break ground on the WestProp Hills Luxury Golf Estate today. A PGA championship quality golf course, luxury homes, and job opportunities. Proud to witness Zimbabwe’s growth and modernisation,” said President Mnangagwa.

The President welcomed the partnership between WestProp Holdings and the City of Harare, stating that it aligns with the country’s Vision 2030 goals and the mantra “Nyika Inovakwa Nevene Vayo”.

WestProp CEO, Ken Sharpe, said, “The Hills Luxury Golf Estate is a beacon of excellence and a symbol of what Zimbabwe can achieve. We are proud to have created a destination that will attract visitors and investors from around the world, further solidifying Zimbabwe’s position as a premier tourist and investment hub.”

The Hills Luxury Golf Estate features an 18-hole championship golf course, 862 residences, a country club, a 5-star hotel, tennis and swimming academies, a shopping mall, a 24/7 clinic, and green spaces covering 80% of the estate.

The development is expected to create job opportunities and contribute to Zimbabwe’s economic growth. The event was attended by government officials, business leaders, WestProp partners, and customers.
