Scottland president Pedzai “Scott” Sakupwanya has offered a $10,000 incentive for each player to encourage their push for promotion to the Premier Soccer League.
Currently, the Division One team is in second place on the Northern Region standings, just one point behind their title rivals, Mwos, with three matches left in the season.
After a convincing 5-1 victory over DZ Royals earlier this week, Sakupwanya rewarded each of the 19 players and 11 members of the technical staff with $1,500.
Their upcoming match is against Harare City, who previously led the league before falling out of contention.
Sakupwanya has challenged the players to score at least six goals in their remaining matches to qualify for the $1,500 bonus.
“The initial bonus of $1,500 was contingent on winning by five goals, such as scores of 5-0, 6-1, or 7-2. The additional $200 per goal would apply only after reaching that five-goal mark,” he explained to the team.

“Since the recent 5-1 victory was a four-goal win, it didn’t meet the bonus requirement. However, the players still received $1,500 despite conceding a goal.”
He emphasized the importance of goal difference in the title race and urged the team to aim for a 6-0 victory against Harare City to secure the bonus.
Sakupwanya also revealed ambitious plans for Scottland should they clinch the NRSL title, confirming a $10,000 reward for each player if they emerge victorious.
