Soldiers Disappear with AK-47s

Six Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) soldiers have gone missing during a training session in Nyanga, with reports indicating that they disappeared with AK-47 rifles.

The situation is still developing, and authorities are yet to issue an official statement.

The Commander of the Border Camp in Nyanga has confirmed the incident but stated that no further details can be provided at this time.

He stated that the ZNA Public Relations office is responsible for any comments to the media.

As of now, the ZNA is following internal procedures to investigate the disappearance, and the public is urged to await an official response from the army.

Authorities have not provided any information on the soldiers’ whereabouts or the circumstances surrounding their disappearance.
