The Ampère Scholarships of Excellence offer outstanding international students the chance to enroll in eligible Master’s programs at ENS de Lyon. In addition, ENS de Lyon provides the GRADUATE+ Scholarship to exceptional international students pursuing specific Master’s programs.

Eligible Programs and Fields of Study:
The scholarships cover all Master’s programs in the Exact Sciences, Arts, or Human and Social Sciences offered at ENS de Lyon, except for FEADép Master’s programs.
The GRADUATE+ Scholarship (providing €1,000 per month for 10 months) is available to top international students accepted into the following Graduate Initiatives and Master’s programs, for either M1 or M2:
- CORE (Conflicts and Recompositions in a Globalized World): European Studies, Advanced Economics
- DynLifeSys (Multiscale Dynamics of Living Systems): Biosciences, Biosciences for Modeling Complex Systems
- MathInfi (Mathematics, Foundations of Computer Science, and Interactions): Mathematics and related fields
- PACE (Physics, Astronomy, Chemistry, Earth Sciences): M2 only, including Physics & Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Organic Synthesis and Bioactive Molecules, Ocean-Atmosphere-Climate Sciences, Optics & Photonics, and Cosmology

The scholarship provides €1,000 per month for one year and is renewable for a second year, contingent on approval by the Master’s program director and successful completion of the first year (M1).
Eligibility Criteria:
- For M1 applicants: A Bachelor’s degree (L3 equivalent – 180 ECTS) or an equivalent qualification for students educated outside the ECTS system is required.
- For M2 applicants: A Master’s Year 1 degree (M1 – 240 ECTS) or its international equivalent is required.
