The Warriors’ starting squad for their 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Lesotho at Orlando Stadium this afternoon includes Wolves standout Tawanda Chirewa.
Chirewa, who had to return to Zimbabwe to pick up his passport, missed Wednesday’s practice sessions. Coach Jairos Tapera has assigned Chirewa the role of playmaker. In a 4-3-3 configuration, he will work behind center-forward Tino Kadewere, with Daniel Msendami and Jordan Zemura on the flanks.
Andy Rinomhota and captain Marshall Munetsi flank Chirewa in the midfield. Devine Lunga will cover the left side of defense, and Andrew Mbeba will play as the right wing-back. Donovan Bernard will start in goal for the central defensive duo of Gerald Takwara and Teenage Hadebe.
