A self-styled preacher, Obadiah Musindo, narrowly escaped an attack by a group of women at the Rainbow Towers Hotel over the weekend.
The incident occurred when one of the women confronted him over an unpaid debt of $350.
This is not the first time Musindo has faced public embarrassment over unpaid debts. Sources close to the matter revealed that this incident is part of a larger pattern of financial mismanagement.
“He borrowed the money and promised to pay back better, but he did not honor that,” the woman said.
“Musindo is busy spending money in hotels but not paying back; it’s not fair.”
A video of the incident, posted by Harare Times on X , shows Musindo being reprimanded by the woman.

The video has sparked widespread discussion on social media, with many calling for greater accountability among religious leaders.
Musindo’s church has yet to release a statement on the matter. It is also unclear whether Musindo has reported the incident to the police. As the investigation continues, further details are expected to emerge.
