A disturbing video has gone viral on social media, sparking outrage and condemnation. The video shows three women brutally assaulting a young woman, stripping her naked and beating her with sticks.
The victim was accused of having an illicit affair with a married man.
Zimbabwe Republic Police have been urged to investigate and prosecute the perpetrators. Women’s rights organizations have also called for greater protection for victims of gender-based violence.
