Working as a Chef De Partie for the Royal Caribbean Group involves ensuring the Bakery Shop’s smooth and efficient operation and control on a daily basis, following company policies.

The key responsibilities include:
- Supporting Celebrity Cruises’ mission in alignment with safety, service, and style standards.
- Directing, coaching, supporting, supervising, and evaluating the performance of direct reports.
- Overseeing the production, quality, and presentation of the bread assortment for daily menus.
- Forecasting production, recording leftovers to minimize waste, and managing food costs.
- Supervising the setup of the bread display in various buffets and ensuring bakery shop cleanliness.
- Requisitioning and transporting necessary items from leading stores to the bakery shop.
- Ensuring recipes, master lists, and yields align with company standards.
- Completing daily consumption re-cap as required by the Executive Chef and managing daily production recap.
- Coaching and training the Cook Baker.
- Performing additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, or convention banqueting service (shipboard experience is an advantage).
- Good oral and written English communication skills.
- Willingness to work onboard for at least 6 months.
- Valid passport copy.
- Willingness to undergo required training by the maritime institute.
