The Zimbabwe Hip Hop Awards (ZHHA) are officially back for their 14th edition, set to take place in December 2024 (exact date to be announced).
According to Aldrian Beefy Harrison this year’s ceremony will be a hybrid event, featuring both a virtual component and a live, in-person celebration.
As the leading platform for Zimbabwean hip hop and Africa’s first and most prestigious hip hop awards show, the ZHHA remains dedicated to empowering young musicians. They achieve this by celebrating and acknowledging local talent across various hip-hop subgenres, using the power of popular culture and media to inspire and motivate aspiring artists. The awards show continues to gain recognition, attracting the attention of international media outlets and artists.

Here’s what’s new for ZHHA 14. House of Arts Association Partnership: The ZHHA is proud to announce a new partnership with the House of Arts Association. They will be responsible for managing and curating the awards show brand moving forward.
New Award Category: Get ready to hear the power of words! A brand new category for spoken word artistry has been introduced this year.
Submissions Open: Calling all aspiring hip-hop artists. Submissions for the ZHHA 14 are officially open.
Performer Submissions: Artists interested in showcasing their talent at the awards ceremony can submit their biographies and performance proposals to info@zimhiphopawards.co.zw. Stay tuned for exciting announcements regarding additional partnerships coming soon
