Former champion boxer Arifonso “Mosquito” Zvenyika and his wife, Jesman, have chosen to symbolize their renewed commitment to each other by exchanging new silver wedding rings, leaving behind their old ones. This gesture marks their decision to move forward and embrace a fresh start.
Recently, Jesman made headlines after admitting to infidelity, but Mosquito has forgiven her. Together, they have turned to their faith and have renewed their vows, committing to their relationship once again.
The couple has attended two church services together following their reconciliation. Mosquito shared with H-Metro that they have found solace in their faith community.
“The spirit of God spoke to me, and I shared this with my wife,” Mosquito said. “We have decided to return to the Lord as a family. God is the only one who is truly faithful and loving.”
He went on to explain that they had chosen to change their wedding rings, distancing themselves from negative influences and aligning with worshippers. He believes that God has visited him in a profound way and feels compelled to share the positive message with others.
“I am a sinner, and I need grace,” Mosquito acknowledged. “I am ready to share the power and mystery of the Cross. Let God forgive my sins as I have forgiven others.”
