Beer drinkers get early X-mas treat

Winners

DRINKING at Devine Assignments’ four establishments in Harare paid off for 12 regular patrons, who won an all-expenses paid trip to Bulawayo.

Dubbed, “Buy & Win Big Promotion”, the competition saw thousands of people taking part. Akiz Night Club, City Sports Bar, Private Lounge and Holly’s Hotel are the four clubs from which winners were drawn.

The selected twelve were taken on a weekend tour of Bulawayo and Matopo Hills in the Matobo National National Park where they climbed the hills, did trail walks to some caves.

They also had a drive around the Bulawayo City Centre, which prides itself in ancient buildings and the statue of the late Father Zimbabwe, Joshua Mqabuko Nyongolo Nkomo.

“As Devine Assignments we are playing our small part alongside Zimbabwe Tourism Authority in promoting domestic tourism,” said Devine Assignments boss Biggie Chinoperekwei.

“Many have heard of Bulawayo being a City of Kings and Queens but have never explored it further or experienced the general Matabeleland culture so the Buy & Win Big Promotion has actually given these chosen few this lifetime opportunity,” he added.

The winners also had a chance to party the whole weekend from Friday 4 August hopping from Club Connect, Club 263, Private Lounge and Mqombothi Sports Bar to Red Cafe with a full supply of booze and meat all courtesy of Devine Assignments.

They were accommodated at the famous and newly upgraded Hotel B.C formerly Cecil Hotel, giving them an unforgettable time.
